Wasatch Whitewater Kayak School is teaming up with SOAR Northwest to offer a 6 day, 5 night instructional adventure on the Main Salmon in Idaho. This trip a hybrid between a commercial and a private trip. It is a hands on raft supported multi-day trip that will not only allow you to receive top level kayak instruction but also some down time to enjoy the isolated beauty of the Main Salmon and the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. The kayak program is part of a Row Your Own Complete program. Your guide team will transport your gear, provide support, and handle all of the camp logistics. You will be part of a cook crew for one camp and you will be hands on with the loading and unloading of gear. There may be a few spaces for non kayaking passengers.

We put in at Corn Creek and take out at Carey Creek, this is an 82 mile section where you will encounter class II-IV rapids which will give you ample room to refine and refresh new and old skills. This trip is ideal for hardshell kayakers who feel competent with basic skills such as eddy turns, peel outs, and ferries. There is something for all levels of paddlers, beginning boaters work on honing basic skills, while experienced kayakers can play around with advanced maneuvers. Each day you will paddle in a small group (typically 3 or 4) accompanied by an instructor / guide and will work on skills according to your interests and experience.
